First, the Old Testament is of great importance to Christians because it is inspired of God. In II Tim. 3.16-17, Paul said:
Every scripture inspired of God is also profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction which is in righteousness. That the man of God may be complete, furnished completely unto every good work.also In Heb. 10.15-17, the author said:
And the Holy Spirit also beareth witness to us; for after he hath said, This is the covenant that I will make with them After those days, saith the Lord: I will put my laws on their heart, And upon their mind also will I write them; then saith he, And their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.In Heb. 3.7, he said again:
Wherefore, even as the Holy Spirit saith, To-day if ye shall hear his voice,...
The quotation in Hebrews comes from the Old Testament, in Ps. 95.7, which was inspired by the Holy Spirit, just as the book of Hebrews was. Similarly, in II Pet. 1.21, Peter said:
For no prophecy ever came by the will of man: but men spake from God, being moved by the Holy Spirit. In Rom. 15.4 the apostle said:
For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that through patience and through comfort of the scriptures we might have hope.lastly In II Jn. 9, John said:
Whosoever goeth onward and abideth not in the teaching of Christ, hath not God: he that abideth in the teaching, the same hath both the Father and the Son.In II Pet. 3.2, Peter said:
..that ye should remember the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and the commandments of the Lord and Saviour through your apostles:...
In II Pet. 1.19, he said:
And we have the word of prophecy made more sure; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day-star arise in your hearts:... I pray that you study on his word and learn from all the scriptures. When you touch the word of God you are touching Jesus for he is the living word. Our strongest weapons in our fight is our faith and prayer.gbu

I see that all of your information is not of your own mind but from your church pamlet. How clever to use that method. However I really read GOD word for my self what I learn has been put their by him. May I suggest that you learn of him by opening up the bible and reading his word for your very own and not used pamlet's to be your only guide. In second Timothy 2-15 says. Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. So you see to learn of him and about Him show how great of a love ones Has for him, and Trust me He know who you be. Never any Fooling God .Like the old saying goes you can fool man most of the time but never God. He is the Heart knower.
